How Do I Notify My Patients?

Was talking to good friend who’s a doctor the other day about how the economy is treating him.

He told me that it obviously hasn’t been as good as it was before. Aside from the medical part of the business,”No shows” are the biggest problem. “Hundreds of dollars are wasted because we waited around for a NO Show patient.” MRIs, scans and everything get delayed. I have to shuffle other patients around to make time for critical ones. Physical pain is not a big enough reminder.

Most of our emails seem to get caught up in large Inboxes. Nearly all of our phone calls go to voicemail and get returned when its already too late or a hassle to reschedule.

Do you think a text could help us make adjustments to our schedule?
