Inbound texts are received almost instantly, with an inbound maximum rate around 10 texts per second. In our experience, the vast majority ( > 99%) of inbound texts are delivered to your Messenger within 30-45 seconds of being sent.  Although this isn’t meant to be a guarantee, it has been our experience that no inbound or outbound messages have ever been lost.  Theoretically, it could happen, but so far, all messages we’ve ever sent or received have always reached their destination.

Send Nows (with 5 contacts or less) get the highest priority and are sent out immediately. In our experience, the vast majority ( > 99%) will reach their intended mobile device within 60 seconds, most are delivered within 20 seconds.

Groups (6 or more contacts) and Scheduled Sends are given a lower priority than the Send Nows and will go out AFTER all the pending Send Nows have been sent. Groups and Scheduled Sends are given lower priority because they are not 'live' one-to-one chat sessions which require instant messaging. Group and Scheduled Sends are processed at the rate of one every 8.5 seconds, or about 400 per hour.
